Yes, PACFA regulations require that all pets who receive services at Bella Lune the following current vaccinations:
Rabies
Distemper-Parvo
(DHPP or DA2PP)
Bordetella
Leptospirosis
Under the Pet Animal Care and Facilities Act (PACFA) in Colorado, pet care facilities (such as groomers, boarding kennels, and daycares) are required to collect and maintain proof of vaccination for every pet they service.
Acceptable proof of vaccination includes an official physical vaccine card or a digital record provided by a licensed veterinarian. This record must clearly display the vaccine’s date of administration, expiration date, manufacturer, and serial number.

No, due to regulatory and legal compliance we cannot provide service to pets who are unvaccinated.

PACFA stands for the Pet Animal Care and Facilities Act (Title 35, Article 80, C.R.S). It is a Colorado state law that regulates and licenses companion animal facilities to protect the health, safety, and welfare of pets, while also protecting consumers who use pet-related services.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
No-shows may be charged up to the full cost of the scheduled appointment and may require prepayment for future bookings.
Clients arriving excessively late may need to reschedule and may still incur appointment charges.

Late Pickup Fees
Pets not picked up within 1 hour after notification of completion may incur additional daycare or handling fees of $20 per hour.
Abandonment
If a pet is not picked up the same day that they are dropped off for service, and the Owner fails to respond to repeated contact attempts, the pet may be considered abandoned in accordance with Colorado law.
If the pet has been abandoned, Bella Lune Grooming, LLC reserves the right to transfer the pet to a local boarding facility. Owner remains financially responsible for all boarding, care, legal, and collection costs incurred. The minimum fee for boarding services is $100 per each day that boarding is required.
